Space Domes America
Soon To Be:  Science Camps America
Mission
Space Domes America Corporation is a non-profit educational organization whose goal is to
introduce students (1st - 6th) to the excitement and wonder of science.  Our focus is all things
scientific, including the History and Nature of Science, space science, astronomy, geology,
zoology, botany, paleontology, chemistry, engineering, archaeology,  community planning,
meteorology, and earth science.  Campers' days are filled with building projects, experiments,
exploration, problem solving, teamwork, and fun.

Campers bring a packed lunch and drink to the camps.  Hot lunches, and before and after-care
are available at Old Trail for an extra charge.   Extra snacks and drinks will be provided.

Space Domes America welcomes future scientists from Northeast Ohio and beyond.

2010 NEWS
The Dome complex at Copley High School was torn down in 2009 after the domes
suffered storm damage.    Our name will be changing to Science Camps America and our
summer camps will be held at Old Trail School  while we search for a permanent home.
We will continue to offer to bring our programming to your school or home-school group.
Special one-day programs are available - contact us!

For the 2010 season,
two camps will be held at Old Trail School during the weeks of June
21-25
(Myth Busters 101 - For Kids Only) and July 12-16 (Paleontology - The Real Thing).
A
third camp is planned for Aug. 9-13 (Hands-on Science) at the home of Sharon Esker,
Director of Space Domes America.  Please note the difference in tuition between camps.
While we will miss the Domes, we will continue to offer fun and educational science
camps for students in the area.  A change of venue will also open up possibilities for
expanded science content.

Check back often for more news.
DON'T BE LEFT OUT!
